CARBON DIOXIDE AND ACIDOSIS

Updated: Nov 10, 2022

As you may well know, keeping the bodies pH level neutral is very important for cell health and regeneration.

When the body becomes too acidic a whole host of symptoms can emerge including: weight gain, head aches, stiff or painful joints, extreme tiredness, lack of concentration and motivation, increased heart rate and sore gums to name a few.

pH is the scale of how acidic or alkaline a solution is; anything above pH 7 is considered alkaline and anything below pH 7 is considered acidic.

7 is neutral on the scale - Arr that lovely number seven again!  The word "seven" comes from the hebrew word "sheba" meaning perfection or completion!

In a past video we discussed how drinking water with a neutral-high pH and keeping our diets free from acidic foods is very beneficial to our health along all lines and, how this can even assist with preserving and raising the "Sacred Secretion" - here is link to that video:

In this post however, I would like to address the benefits of breathing techniques which also assist the body in maintaining a neutral pH.

This is due to the fact that other than the food and drink that we consume, STRESS is the number one factor for altering the bodies pH.

Stress causes our heart rate to increase and our breathing to become shallow.  Shallow breathing stops the body from being able to expel carbon dioxide properly, carbon dioxide IS AN ACID and stress allows excess carbon dioxide to build up and cause detrimental issues.

There are many breathing techniques originating in different cultures all over the world trialed and scientifically proven to help expel excess carbon dioxide from the body.

Perhaps the most modern and simplified techniques is the Wim Hof method, which I am sure many of you will be familiar with.

Here are Wim Hof's simple instructions for his breathing technique:

1. Give yourself a 15-20 min time slot free from distractions.

2. Sit up ensuring that your spine is straight with your shoulders relaxed.

3. Take 40 deep breaths, inhaling through the nose and exhaling through the mouth, With each breath be sure to fill your stomach and subsequently your lungs to their capacity and empty the stomach and lungs as much as possible on the exhale.

4. Hold the 40th breath for as long as possible before exhaling slowly and completely.

5. Do this process again and again in sets of 40 until the time is up.

This exercise helps to expel excess carbon dioxide and raise the bodies vibratory frequency.

“The very breath of God is in you” Job 33:4

There are other breathing and meditation techniques details in the final chapter of my book: THE GOD DESIGN: Secrets of the Mind, Body and Soul available in Paperback, eBook and Audio formats from amazon and other platforms.
